The Ventura Beach Marriott is a full service hotel right on Harbor Blvd. approximately 1.5 miles East of the fairgrounds. There are numerous restaurants in the area of the hotel, and in downtown Ventura. Freeway driving is NOT required to get to the fairgrounds from the hotel. There is also a pleasant paved beachfront walking/biking path which will take you between the hotel and fairgrounds.

Summer is prime tourist season in this beautiful seaside city. CORSA has negotiated a discount rate for your stay during the convention.

The hotel online registration through CORSA is CLOSED as of about May 25.

One night's payment is required at the time the reservation is made using either method above. The rate is $119+tax which comes out to $130.96 per day. This rate is available from June 20 to June 30, 2008 is you would like to extend your stay in the area.

Hotel Parking: The hotel normally charges $10/day for parking (new since our original contract negotiations with them), but CORSA has negotiated parking to be included with your stay. The hotel has a fairly large parking garage which is not very well used and should provide great covered parking for any of your (not oversized) vehicles if you want to use it. We frequently have morning fog and heavy dew so this might be recommended to help keep your car clean and dry.

For those of you without a car, or your car is tied up with convention activities, you can easily get to and from the hotel using a convenient public transportation shuttle which runs every 45 minutes, 7 days a week and can take you from the side of the hotel to the fairgrounds (near the AmTrak station) or back in only 5 minutes. The shuttle will pick you up as early as 7:10 AM next to the hotel and return you as late as 8:55PM from the fairgrounds. The fee is $1.20 each way exact change, $.60 seniors. Children under 10 free.
